MatchedFx is created with an ambition to simplify and digitise foreign currency payments to make the world a smaller, more connected place, enabling travellers and supporting families spread across multiple countries. We empower the customer to get the best possible FX rates, or they can choose and pick it by themselves. Once the currency is converted, they can pay for flights and hotels like locals. This ensures they have complete control over their expenses and enjoy the safety and security of not carrying significant foreign currency in cash. Matched FX will charge only a straightforward fee at the time of the booking and no other costs to its clients.

Peer-to-Peer FX Exchange

MatchedFX works as a peer to peer FX exchange in which either you can take the offered rates ( calculated based on the current offers and banks offered rate). Alternatively, you can give the rate you would like to trade on, making that an offer rate to buy the currency you are selling. It’s safe because we always take the payments from both sides before matching them; hence you don’t have to worry about the other side paying up. We can provide the service in a matter of minutes where countries support fast payment, so the money is in your balance almost instantly.

Managed over 15 production systems in Citibank. Created Quantum FX, the central settlement system used by Citi for over 95% of its FX volumes settling over1.3 Trillion US$ daily. Program Director for Straight2Bank NextGen.
An over 110 million US$ programme to create a state of art corporate channel offering from Standard Chartered. MBA from Pune University specialising in Finance.

Peter Bibb

Peter has 30+ years of investment banking technology experience, primarily at JPMorgan and Citibank.  His area of expertise is transaction processing and risk management, having developed the FX and interest rate processing platform at JPMorgan.

He held positions of Managing Director and Global Technology Manager for FX and Derivatives processing at both Institutions.

Mathematics Graduate from Kings College. British Citizen based in London.

Ajay Chacko

Co-Founder; Arré, Former Chief Operating Officer, TV18/ Network18 Group, Author; A Bend in the Ocean. Ajay co-founded the digital media venture Arré (U Digital Content) in 2015. Arré (www.arre.co.in) is one of India’s leading original digital content brands and a social media platform that also runs Arré Studio which creates large format shows for Amazon, Disney+ and other OTT platforms. He continues to be on the board of Arré/ U Digital Content.

In his last held roles with the group he was President of the A+E Networks – TV18 JV and also the COO of the Network18 Group. For over a decade (2004-2014) Ajay played various roles, including in the launch of new businesses and media properties for NSE, BSE listed TV18 Group, including CNBC TV18, CNN IBN, Viacom18, Moneycontrol, Firstpost, Forbes India and the JV with A+E Networks US (History channel etc). Prior to TV18/ Network18, Ajay spent over a decade in financial services and media.

Ajay Chacko has authored a fantasy fiction book “A Bend in the Ocean ” aimed at young adults to help increase awareness about climate change and oceans. 

Umesh Jain 

Umesh is a business leader specializing in digital & technology. He has led many strategic & transformational programs in almost 3 decades of his work experience. From legacy migrations, mergers & acquisitions (Citi) to setting up a greenfield bank (YES Bank) to transforming the organization to become world leader & largest stock exchange (NSE).

Currently, he is an independent director on the board of SBM Bank India, consults with International Financial Corporation and also runs a consulting firm 9Dots Consulting Partners.Previously he has served as CEO of NSE Infotech Services limited and CIO of the National Stock Exchange. CIO of Yesbank and Business Head at Citi.

Manish Singh

Manish brings more than 30 years of experience from Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, a company totally committed to customer delight and process excellence.

In his roles as Head of Marketing and Head of Distribution, Manish led the customer-facing digital strategy, brand strategy and worked extensively with leading travel websites across the globe. 

During his tenure as Head of Revenue Management, he was responsible for establishing the practice and technology for the scientific study of demand and dynamic pricing based on that.

In his current position as SVP & Chief of Staff to the CEO & MD of the company, Manish is actively engaged in every aspect of the business – from long-term strategy to operational excellence.
